SNEAK PEEK FAMILY : MICHELE + KYLE + SOFIA

As the sun rose over New York City this past Sunday, I had the pleasure of photographing the beautiful Fetherolf family.  Walking around the streets by their home in Tribeca, Michele and Kyle reminisced about how wonderful these past 16 months have been.  That is when Sofia came into their lives and changed their world.  Here is a sneak peek of this amazing family. SNEAK PEEK WEDDING : KERRY + MIKE

Are you ready for another amazing sneak peek?  A few weeks ago, Kerry and Mike happily pledged to spend their lives together during a beautiful Catholic ceremony in New York.  Afterwards, we headed over to the Queens County Farm Museum for a night full of dancing and dining with family and friends.  (And plenty of fun pictures of course!) Here are a few that I have fallen in love with...I hope you will too!

 The entire wedding party made sure Kerry and Mike were having fun, ALL NIGHT LONG!

SNEAK PEEK : HINDU WEDDING IN JERSEY CITY : NIMALI + MAYOOR

I am so excited to share this sneak peek of Nimali and Mayoor's Hindu wedding from last Saturday!  This beautiful couple pledged to spend their lives together at the Hyatt Regency in Jersey City, NJ with the stunning Manhattan skyline as the backdrop to their day.   I was blessed to be invited to second shoot for Studio Nine Photography by Jonathan Rubin out of Philadelphia, PA.  Click here to see their AMAZING work. Namali and Mayoor started their day together with a quiet stroll by the Hudson River.  

The ceremony was held outdoors, with the beautiful New York City skyline in the background.  Namali and Mayoor couldn't have asked for a more perfect day.

I was absolutely amazed by the many rituals of the traditional Hindu wedding.  As Mayoor pledged to take care of his wife, Namali's father accepted this promise by pouring water on his hands.  This is called the paani graham.

Namali and Mayoor's true love and respect for each other was constantly visible throughout the ceremony.  I am really looking forward to sharing their full wedding story soon!  HAPPY WEDNESDAY!

SNEAK PEEK NYC ENGAGEMENT : ALI + NATHAN

It was June, right before senior year of high school.  The summer was hot in Tennessee, but it was a sweet one for Ali and Nathan.  Under the warmth of the summer sun, Ali and Nathan fell in love. 

Graduation day came and went, and in the fall, Ali moved to Statesboro, GA to attend Georgia Southern University on a tennis scholarship, while Nathan pursued Exercise Science at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, TN.  Separated by seven hours, Ali and Nathan began their long distance relationship.   

Four years later, on Easter weekend, Nathan got down on one knee and asked Ali to marry him. These high school sweethearts are planning on tying the knot next June, and they couldn’t be happier.    

I am so excited to share this sneak peek engagement session with you, not only because Ali and Nathan are a gorgeous couple, but because they are family!  That’s right, Nathan is my future brother in law and Ali is my beautiful sister and my best friend.  I love these two more than I could ever explain and I am so honored to have photographed their engagement session this weekend. 

I am going to warn you that this sneak peek is MASSIVE, but I just couldn’t help myself! Be on the look out for more of Ali and Nathan’s fabulous NYC engagement session later this week, the best is yet to come!

We started shooting in the alleyways of Tribeca...at 6:00 a.m.!

Ali and Nathan made even the simplest locations look amazing.  This was taken in a phone booth we found on 6th Avenue.

Ali and Nathan made a quick change before we headed to Central Park.  Ali, I am just going to say what everyone is thinking...you look like an angel!  

The weather was extremely hot, so we stopped for some ice cream to cool off.

After a long morning of walking through the city, Ali and Nathan enjoyed some time to themselves on a relaxing boat ride in Central Park.  

Straight out of The Notebook!  You guys could totally be Noah and Allie in this picture.  

I will end this sneak peek on a sweet note. Ali and Nathan, you are so perfect together.  Your love story has been a fairy tale and I can't wait to see what will happen next!
